We are excited about expanding our Basketball Academy throughout Southwest Florida and the addition of some new programs. Starting at age 5, we will be teaching the fundamentals of basketball at Estero High School. Please find below the sessions being held at Estero High School and our easy registration form! Shooting Stars Skill Session - Boys & Girls 8 & 9 years old. This session focuses on building on the players existing skills. Emphasis is on the fundamentals of proper technique in shooting, ball handling, passing, rebounding and defensive position. All shooting drills will be on the 10 foot basket. The Triple Threat position will be emphasized in this class throughout all drills. We will utilize game situations to strengthen the players technique and ability. Each session includes 60 minutes of instruction and then 30 minutes of controlled game play. The game play will emphasize the skill development of the day. Session runs for 4 Sundays, star

Basic Shooting & Ball Handling Session Boys and Girls 10 years and up - This program is guaranteed to improve your shooting and ball handling skills. The session is broken up into 30 minute segments emphasizing each skill. This shooting session emphasizes the proper shooting technique through proven drills and a high level of repetition. We will teach jump shooting, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the catch and proper triple threat technique. The ball handling session will incorporate both two ball drills and one ball drills. Power dribbling techniques will be implemented along with proper passing techniques for game situations. Session runs for 4 Sundays with each session running an hour and a half. Session starts Sunday September 21st and each session is an hour and half long. Sessions run from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Maximum number of student athletes 12. "Big Man" -Post Player 1 Class- Boys and Girls in Middle School thru High School. This session will teach all players seven great post moves, how to control the "trenches" and how to get position to get possession. This session will give the player the principles needed to play this dominating position. Positioning, leverage and the specific how to's will be covered in the sessions. This session is excellent for Post Players as well as Guards and Forwards who want to lean how to be deadly in the paint! Each training session is a hour and half long! Session starts September 21 for 4 Sunday's. Sessions run from 12:30pm to 2:00pm Sunday's. Maximum number of student athletes 12. Cost is $89 and all students receive a Winning Ways Academy T-Shirt.
Guard and Perimeter Play 1 Class- Boys and Girls in Middle School thru High School! This session will emphasize ball handling, developing a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio, defending the ball full court, how to be a leader in practice and games, and understanding when to go and when to slow! Learn what it takes to become the creator, playmaker and decision maker for your team! You will learn drills and concepts that you can take with you to practice on your own! If you play 1, 2, or 3 on your team, this session will help you understand the basics fundamentals of efficient offensive execution. Session starts September 21st for four Sunday's. Session runs from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Maximum number of student athletes is 12 per session . Cost is $89 and all students receive a Winning Ways Academ.y T-Shirt.
Advanced Shooting Class 1- High-Level Boys and Girls in Middle School. This is truly a next level training session. Not only will we teach advanced shooting techniques, we will focus on the Three Point Shot, 8 Pro Moves out of the Triple Threat, Post moves for Guards through Centers, and how to be a Scorer. This session has a high level of repetitive shooting drills, both competitive and non-competitive. This session is for the experienced player who wants to take their scoring ability to the next level. Session starts Sunday September 21 and each training session runs an hour and half. Session runs from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Space is limited as we only have 4 players per basket for the session. Cost is $89 and all student athletes receive a Winning Ways Academy T-Shirt.
Advanced Shooting Session 2 - NEW Session For High School Players ONLY!
This session is for the high school player that has completed Advanced Shooting 1 and is really looking to take their scoring ability to a new level. This session includes a review of the 8 Pro Moves from the Triple Threat plus the development of a number of advanced shooting techniques. Players will learn to execute a true "Runner" from various spots on the floor. In addition, players will learn speicalty shots when penetrating the paint. Shooting on the move will also be developed throughout the six weeks utilizing the 1-2 step and developing the proper footwork to always use your inside foot as the pivot foot when coming off screens. Developing both right and left feet as the pivot will also be taught. Session starts September 21st and each training session runs for an hour and a half. Session runs from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Space is limited as we only have 4 players per basket for this session. Cost is $89 and all students receive a Winning Ways Academy T-Shirt.Family Discount - sign up two players in your family and get 10% off each session.
